In light of the escalating public consciousness surrounding these goals, the Taiwanese government has outlined twelve crucial strategies and is encouraging enterprises to invest in technological innovations to foster a shared ecosystem.

Donald Chan
Managing Director, Asia Pacific, CDP
Donald is the Managing Director, Asia Pacific where he leads the region’s strategy, business and operations including responsibility over its offices in Tokyo, Beijing, Hong Kong, Singapore and Delhi. He joined from Temasek where he established the internal capabilities to setup and operationalise new ventures and businesses. Prior to this, he has over twenty years of work experience including seven years as a co-founder of two successful companies including Chief Operating Officer of Clifford Capital and led the international business for Circles Global. He brings his entrepreneurship to grow CDP as well as his investment experience in Singapore, Australia, Japan and Hong Kong. In addition to his private sector experience, Donald has also worked with the governments of Australia and Singapore to develop and execute economic strategies.
Donald holds an MBA from Macquarie University as well as Bachelor of Law and Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Sydney.
Helena Sarén
Head of Zero Carbon Future mission, Business Finland
Ms. Sarén is the Head of Zero Carbon Future mission at Business Finland being also a Board member at the Nordic Energy Research. She is also a member of the Working Group for Climate and Responsibility at Finland’s Service Sector Employers Association. Prior present position she was heading the national Smart Energy Finland program which included various fields of energy, namely energy generation, smart grids, batteries, district energy as well as P2X and hydrogen economy.
She has over 25 years of strong and comprehensive experience in the international business – starting from the business development at Wärtsilä about 25 years ago with the continuation of extensive consulting career in the fields of internationalization, development financing and investments. She holds MSc in Engineering from the Helsinki University of Technology. She has also carried out studies at the Helsinki School of Business.
Jonathan Drubay
International Expert, National Applied Research Laboratories
Graduating from Centrale Nantes in 2015, Johnathan Drubay specialized in energy and transport-related technologies and started his career as a Consultant in Australia and in France. In 2018, He joined the French Office in Taipei to support and reinforce the relationships between Taiwan and France through science and technology. Driven by the belief that only international cooperation will successfully overcome the environmental challenges of our time, he involved in several projects to support and coordinate environmental and international projects to build a better and more sustainable world.
Hsiu- Ming Lin
Chairman, Taiwan Carbon Exchange
Lin is now Taiwan Carbon Exchange Chairman and Taiwan Index Plus Chairman. He previously served at Taiwan Depository Clearing, Fund Rich, Donghwa Telecom, and HSBC Global Asset Management. He graduated from George Washington University in business administration and National Taiwan University in political science.
Eduardo Aznar Zozaya
Strategy and Business Development Director, CENER, SPAIN
Chartered Engineer by the Public University of Navarre and Master of Business Management and Marketing, Eduardo Aznar is Business Development Director in the Spanish Renewable Energy Center (CENER). His professional career developed first in the field of automotive industry, working as engineer in charge of the manufacturing process at TI Automotive, sales manager at MB Prints, DANA responsible MRO in Spain and director of spare parts in DANA. In the energy sector, he has experience as logistics coordinator at ENUSA (National Uranium Company) and now as Director of Development CENER business. In his current position he is in charge of the strategy and innovation process, promoting research projects and CENER services internationally, developing bilateral collaborations, and stimulating participative creativity in new products.
Kuang-Hua Hu
Managing Director & President, Mega International Commercial Bank Co., LTD
Hu served as Mega Financial Holding President in 2018. He was committed to digital transformation and sustainable development. In 2022, Mega Financial Holding was included in Dow Jones Sustainability Emerging Markets Index for the first time. It also performed well in multiple evaluations, such as MSCI ESG Index, CDP Climate Change questionnaire, and National Sustainable Development Award in Taiwan. After taking the current position in August 2022, he leads Mega Bank towards sustainable development.
Ouyang Zineng
Senior Vice President, Bank SinoPac Co., LTD
Ouyang leads the team to build a sustainable green energy ecosystem, and promote green financing for industrial development. By the end of July 2023, it has worked with 7,688 solar PV plants (3.2GW installed capacity and 29% market shares). He also organizes the largest syndicated loan in Taiwan for solar systems over fish farms, and ground-mounted PV systems. He also leads the largest solar storage syndicated loan in Taiwan, and the first green energy trust platform. With extensive experiences, he assists to diversify energy supplies. Since 2016, SinoPac is the only consecutive winner to Top Solar Award by Bureau of Energy for outstanding financial services. From 2020 to 2022, it receives Renewable Energy Financing Special Award by Financial Supervisory Commission. SinoPac will continue to develop green financing services in the new era with sustainable green energy.

Lin is responsible for OTC bonds and derivatives management. His team also accelerates issuance, trade, and new products for sustainable development bond market in Taiwan.
Peter Huang

Peter is the BVP at Schneider Electric managing Secure Power division and Sustainability in Taiwan. He supports organizations and customers on digital transformation, energy efficiency, and IT/OT sustainability transition.
Peter has spent 13 years in Schneider Electric between USA, Singapore, Thailand, Japan, and Taiwan in the Renewables industry. He was the Head of Services for Asia-Pacific managing Solar assets across 9 countries and led an operational/commercial team for the region.

Yi-Ping Wang

Wang has been researching on oil refinery additives and hydrogenation catalysts. Multiple products have been developed for applications and sale. With mounting pressure for Net Zero development, she shifts to carbon dioxide capture and reuse technologies. In her current role, Wang will draft Net Zero strategies, approaches, and action plans based on previous experiences.
