Brian Chong
Vice President, Wistron Medical Technology Corporation
Brian has over 33 years of experience working at Acer and Wistron, over the course of which he established Wistron’s Value Creation Center, the New Technology Development group, and the Medical Business Development Center. He was the Chief of Product Planning of the Computing Products Business Group before his latest role at Wistron Medical Technology Corporation, developing medical products for the past 10 years. WMT is a wholly owned subsidiary of Wistron Corporation and provides design and manufacturing solutions for customers in the areas of In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD), Exoskeleton Robotics, and Intelligent Healthcare.
Ming-Shiang Wu
Superintendent, National Taiwan University Hospital
Ming-Shiang Wu is the distinguished professor and superintendent in the National Taiwan University Hospital, and President of the Gastroenterological Society of Taiwan.
Professor Wu graduated from the National Taiwan University College of Medicine in 1989, and obtained his PhD from the University’s Graduate Institute of Clinical Medicine in 1998. After completing his internal medicine residency and gastroenterology training, he was appointed staff physician in the Division of Gastroenterology, National Taiwan University Hospital, in 1995.
Professor Wu’s main areas of interest are Helicobacter pylori-associated gastroduodenal diseases and gastrointestinal malignancy. Author of more than 450 scientific papers and 3 book chapters, he is the members at the editorial boards of Gut and Gastric Cancer. He is the recipient of several academic research awards, including the Outstanding Research Award of Taiwan’s National Science Council & Ministry of Science & Technology (three times) and the Emerging Leader Award at the Asia Pacific Digestive Week 2008, for his contributions related to gastric carcinogenesis and the pathogenesis of H. pylori-related diseases.
Dr. Tai-Yi Huang
CVP & CTO, ASUS
After graduating from National Taiwan University, Taiyi Huang obtained Ph.D. in computer science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He has worked at Microsoft and Google in the United States for nearly 20 years, and has accumulated rich experience in cloud and software development. Dr. Huang currently serves as the ASUS Corporate Vice President and head of AICS, ASUS Intelligent Cloud Services, a software division committed to advance AI technology and promote digital transformation within the healthcare industry.
Bryan Chu
Senior Business Development Manager, Amazon Web Services Taiwan Ltd.
More than 22 years of experience in the public sector, and has participated in the planning and execution of large government investment and procurement cases. Since 2019, assisting government agencies, schools, healthcare and lif science, and nonprofit organizations in digital transformation or cloud computing Service adoption assessment specializes in cloud architecture planning, AI/ML project and application planning, cloud service implementation and security maintenance.

Dr. Lawson has over 25 years of experience at 3M in laboratory management, strategic product platform creation, and Lean Six Sigma operations. His experience has involved new technology creation in advanced analytics and sensors, biotechnology solutions, and medical adhesives.
Del R. Lawson received his PhD in Chemistry from Texas A&M University.
Jason Shiu
Senior Account Manager, 3M Health Care Business Group
Jason Shiu currently leads Taiwan business team of Medical Materials & Technologies in 3M’s Medical Solutions Division. The team is focused on wearable medical devices, microfluidics application, and medical OEM components market development. Jason has over 20 years’ working experience at 3M Health Care Business Group, where he took most of market development jobs and key account management roles. At 3M, he developed experience in market development, key account management, and new product commercialization. Jason Shiu received his master degree in Agricultural Chemistry from National Taiwan University.

Mory Lin is Supermicro’s GM of IoT/Embedded & Edge Computing and a global leader in engineering and solution architecture design, based at the company’s HQ in Silicon Valley. Mory drives worldwide IoT business and enables partnerships in Telco 5G, AI, Smart City, Industry 4.0, Healthcare, Retail and multiple IoT vertical segments.
Mory’s dedication to Supermicro’s edge-to-cloud computing solution portfolio has seen the company expand its competitive advantage in server expertise and cloud computing to help partners and customers solve problems and embrace new opportunities in Edge computing.

David Chou

David led Deep01 to develop an AI software which is the first US FDA certified deep-learning product in Asia-Pacific. Led Deep01 to be awarded as 2020 Top 1 coolest startup by the government. And to be invsted by Asus and ITRI for the Pre-A round funding. In Taiwan, there are 25,000+ cases accessed by Deep01 AI software. In Asia, Deep01 AI software has got exclusive distribution agreements in 20+ countries. Due to outstanding performace in the medical AI field, David Chou was awarded as 2020 Ten Outstanding Young Persons.
Danny Chen
CTO & MTC Lead, Microsoft Taiwan
Danny Chen leads the alignment with Enterprise and Public Sector customers to understand and address their needs, and drives internal and external digital transformation as the company and customers transition to the intelligent cloud. He helps differentiate Microsoft with trust, technology vision, strategic alignment, business model, business practices, and policy approaches. Danny is helping customers lead the way in terms of digital transformation and cloud adoption, and for driving business development opportunities and incubating new solutions to create markets. Before CTO and MTC lead, Danny was GM of Microsoft Consulting Services for leading Industry solution development and services delivery. Prior to MCS GM, Danny was Specialist Team Unit lead, Director of Microsoft Office Division BG in Marketing & Operation organization and Director of Microsoft Enterprise Services Group in Microsoft.
Allen Chang

Allen Chang is the Co-founder and CEO of ATGENOMIX, Inc., a venture-backed, cloud-first enterprise BioMed-IT infrastructure tech that scales genomics-centric clinical diagnostics services to deliver on the promise of precision medicine. Allen is an experienced entrepreneur and technology innovator with 16+ years of bioinformatics and enterprise software products at global scale.  Prior to ATGENOMIX, Allen was the global product manager in Trend Micro, Inc., managing several enterprise web security product lines with 30+ million revenue in global market including North and South America, EMEA, APAC, and Greater China. When Allen was the R&D manager in the Core Technology Group in Trend Micro, he led a team of talented engineers to develop cutting-edge big data machine learning technologies in solving Internet scale problems and was granted 7 US patents. Allen has a degree in Computer Science from University of Ottawa in Canada and has three cooperative peer-review publications.

Dr. Jowy Tani

Dr. Jowy Tani is the CEO of TMU Biomed Accelerator. After founding the accelerator, he has coached and led investments in numerous biomedical startups in partnership with global partners such as BE Capital, AstraZeneca, and UCSF Rosenman Institute. Trained as a neurologist, Dr. Tani has been involved in numerous Medtech projects as a Berkeley-Taiwan Biomedical (BTB) Fellow and Stanford Biodesign Global Faculty Fellow. He also currently served as the Deputy Secretary-General of Taiwan Neurological Society, and Deputy Director of the Wan Fang Hospital Biomedical Innovation Center.

Ed Deng is our co-founder and has served as the chief executive officer of the company since our inception in June 2013. Ed helped found the company after witnessing many in his family battle diabetes and learning what works in managing diabetes. Apart from Health2Sync, Ed is also a partner of Verge Capital Management, the world’s first seed-stage healthtech fund investing globally in solutions relevant to emerging health economies.
Ed previously worked at Lehman Brothers and Mediatek and holds a B.S. degree in McIntire School of Commerce University of Virginia.
